Meditation: Dancing Standing Still. The "eye"centred stillness in the swirling storm.
Meditation: paying attention to experience, non-judgemental, accepting.
Visualization to enhance your experience!
Easily learn to meditate! On average, we miss half our life daydreaming: not paying attention to experience. A meditator with 45+ years of experience, Louis guides students to calm the mind mostly sitting some walking. Easy to be aware of one moment, difficult to be continuously aware. Class especially good for, "I tried but I cannot meditate"! Learn to distinguish experience from illusion. Students that practice daily realize a sense of peace, freedom and spaciousness, react less, opens hearts, innate connections revealed, low experience, serendipity and synchronicity. Meditation is a key to aliveness!

Quotes
WHY MEDITATE?
Meditation is about seeing clearly the body that we have, the mind that we have, the domestic situation that we have, the job that we have, and the people who are in our lives. It’s about seeing how we react to all these things. It’s seeing our emotions and thoughts just as they are right now, in this very moment, in this very room, on this very seat. It’s about not trying to make them go away, not trying to become better than we are, but just seeing clearly with precision and gentleness…[We] work with cultivating gentleness, innate precision, and the ability to let go of small-mindedness, learning how to open to our thoughts and emotions, to all the people we meet in our world, how to open our minds and hearts... Pema Chodron
"Meditation: It is not what you think!"
"Intention-Attention"
"Since there is no time like the present, I thought it was time to present the presence."
As John Lennon once said, “Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.”
"Here I am, happy and content, but not euphoric.
So now I'm no longer content. I am unhappy. My day is ruined.
I need to stop thinking while I'm ahead."
~ Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes
"In any moment, no matter how lost we feel, we can take refuge in presence and love. We need only pause, breathe, and open to the experience of aliveness within us. In that wakeful openness, we come home to the peace and freedom of our own natural awareness."
